Lisburn Community Orchestra was formed in 2019 by Stephen McLoughlin with an open invite to any and all musicians from the surrounding area to come and make music. Since then LCO is on its way to becoming a registered non-profit organisation, donating proceeds to charity, and continues to grow from strength to strength. The orchestra performs a range concerts throughout the year as well as hosting various social events for members. All musicians are welcome to attend regardless of age, background, whether professional or amateur. The primary goal is to bring people together in the joy of making music with a relaxed inclusive atmosphere.
